Tom's BBQ Sauce

Thanks to our friend, Tom Grogg, for this recipe! 



  1. Heat all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. 
  2. Simmer for about 15 minutes until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally. 
  3. Remove sauce from heat and let cool for 10 minutes before using. 
  4. Once the ribs have reached the desired temperature, use a sauce mop or brush to apply a heavy coat of BBQ sauce to the top of the ribs. 
  5. Close the lid of the grill and finish cooking for 15-20 minutes. 
  6. Unused sauce (that has not come into contact with meat) can be stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to one week after preparation. 
  7. Note: Can substitute Chipotle Olive Oil or Dried Chaabani Pepper Olive Oil instead of Cayenne Olive Oil in this recipe.
