Asian Slaw

This slaw is great served as a side to your favorite Asian entrees or atop burgers or pulled pork sandwiches!


  • 1 T fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp Asian fish sauce
  • 1/2 tsp of The Olive Bin's Japanese Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 T of The Olive Bin's Lime Olive Oil
  • One wedge (1/2 lb) purple cabbage, cored, and finely shredded
  • 1/4 C chopped scallions (green parts only)


  1. In a large bowl, whisk together lime juice, fish sauce, Sesame oil, salt, sugar, and olive oil. 
  2. Add cabbage and scallions to the bowl and toss thoroughly until well-coated. Cover and refrigerate a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
